Who Is Tyler Brennan?
I'm Tyler. I'm 31. I live in Denver. I used to do affiliate marketing — the kind where you're not proud of it at parties but the checks clear.
Then 2021 happened.
I dropped $15,000 on a "high-ticket coaching" program that promised I'd be running a seven-figure agency in 90 days. Spoiler: I was running a seven-figure debt feeling instead. The "mentor" ghosted. The Facebook group got archived. The refund window? Buried in subsection 14(c) of something nobody reads.
So I started this site.
Part revenge. Part hobby. Part me convincing my mom I'm "doing something productive on the computer." I'm a self-styled internet detective. I am NOT credentialed. I don't have a journalism degree. I don't have a law license. What I have is:
- Way too much time
- A spreadsheet addiction
- archive.org on speed dial
- Trustpilot tabs open at all times
Do I see patterns? Yeah. Sometimes I connect dots that aren't dots. I'm skeptical to the point of paranoia — but I try to be charming about it. Mid-30s guy who watched too much Making a Murderer and applied the energy to webinar funnels.
What I Do Here
I investigate online courses, coaching programs, biz-op offers, and crypto "mentorships." I name names. I screenshot claims. I pull BBB filings and Reddit threads. I score everything on The Brennan Scam Score (0–100, lower = scammier).
I don't say "this is a scam." I say "here are 7 red flags and you decide." I always include what the company says — because fairness matters, even when I'm annoyed.
What I Don't Do
I'm not your lawyer. I'm not taking money from companies to write good reviews. (If someone offered, I'd probably write about THAT — red flag city.) I update posts when I learn new info. Companies change. Founders rebrand. I try to keep up.
